“Buffalo by the Tetons” was requested to me, completed, and shipped in 2019.
The piece features a buffalo in the foreground, and a herd gathering in the background.
The intention of this piece was for smaller sections of the painting to look as scenic as the whole.

The highlight and shadow are adjusted in this image.
One of my favorite aspects of this painting is that, by adjusting the highlights/shadow, the detail of the clouds reveal a depth and dimensionality to the clouds. The clouds almost want to pour over the Tetons, leave the canvas, and flow out.
